Tiling complete

So just got back from a look at the house. Mixed feelings. The tiler has stuffed up the tiles in the niche in the ensuite shower, they are ridiculously crooked and will need redoing! Apart from that its coming together OK but without the black benches in its hard to picture what its all going to look like!

The eaves are almost all done and the carpenter has finished the skirtings, architraves and shelving but there are still a few doors left to go in. Oh and they have left the place in an absolute mess but that will be fixed once the supervisor kicks their butts! :)

Anyway here are some pics....
Garage door is on
Eaves are almost all up
 Alfresco roof is up

Stupid idiots at the back only got half their fence posts in cos the rest got filled with mud! lol!
Front eaves not done yet
Portico is half done
 Architraves finished
Oh yeah the place is locked up now! Luckily the back garage door was unlocked so we could get in today!
 Pantry shelving has gone in
 Inside of the garage door
 Man cave wardrobe
 Laundry cupboard shelving
 Guest bedroom wardrobe
 Doors to rumpus room
 Cavity sliders to pantry
 Downlights above bed
 Shelf in WIR
 Shelves in WIR
Back garage door, now has a handle on it
Hole for exhaust fan in ensuite
Trilock on front door
Gloss laminate in pantry is in
Gloss laminate in laundry is in and tub and tiles

Ensuite tiled. Its the vertical dark grey ones that are crooked! It was the very first thing we both noticed! Now peeps, would you replace it with the same colour or the white tiles? I like the dark, Dec wants the white! Thoughts appreciated. Black benchtops still to go in.

 Main bathroom

Authorised lock-up payment today, man thats a big bill!
No progress phone call today. Ill be phoning him Monday about the crooked tiles tho!

  1. Wow! Its looking great and is really coming along now :) I am insanely jealous! LOL

Do you get in trouble for going onsite without your SS..just curious, they are pretty insistent here you don't do it ;) Mind you - every blog I see I am sure they do!

As for the tiles in the ensuite shower..mmmm.. I'm not sure but I am tending to go with thinking the white..maybe?

Sorry - not much help! It depends if you are after much of a contrasting look or not?

Our supervisor said when we first met him that he doesnt mind us being on site as long as we dont hassle the tradies :) we are usually there after hours anyway.
