Thought we better go out for a visit after work yesterday so we took Declan's dad who hadn't been since it was all just dirt so he was very impressed! The eaves at the front have all been finished as you can see below.
Almost all done now apart from paint and light fittings!
The boys took out of the bin the cut out pieces of Caesar stone so we can use them in the future for something! Very heavy but should be well worth it!
Ensuite
Our square basins
Kitchen
Dishwasher and microwave space
Laundry tub
Main bathroom
They have been around and bogged and sanded off all the corners which is good!
Linen cupboard. We put a power point in here in case we want to charge a dust-buster in here in the future!
Garage has been tidied up but the skirting's haven't been finished in here yet...
Few spots to be fixed here
The supervisor has been around and marked all the bits on the walls for the plasterer to fix with pencil. I realised they haven't pulled through any wires for our under kitchen cupboard lights or our island bench pendants!
I found the QA Pre-Paint & Tile Inspection Check List in the top kitchen drawer with some interesting things noted!
- Kitchen splash back by owner after h/o. Maybe required for F21?? (they might want us to install this before handover for some reason?)
- Note: Double rail to WIR required timber fixing (no timber in WIR for our double rail)
- Bath size issue (eek! We upgraded our bath and maybe they haven't allowed for it?)
- Linen top shelf height 50mm low? (nice pick up!)
- Check glass colour to Bed 1 & study (we asked for these to be tinted, I'm pretty sure they are but he's noted it for some reason?)
- Silt fence to rear of property. Seek assistance from builder who removed and remove silt around house when dry (Good, the stupid builder at the back took it down, they should pay, we ended up with all their top soil in our back yard after they took their silt net down then it rained for a week)
Yuk, bl**dy mud!
Pretty impressed with everything they picked up, they also wrote down the crooked tiles in the niche to be fixed. For some reason he wrote no bricks left on site to be removed but there are HEAPS so hopefully these get taken away? Also where it says have downpipes been booked for installation he put "?" so don't know when these are happening! There were also a couple of things not ticked so hopefully he's onto them too!
HAPPY WEEKEND EVERYONE! :-)
Looking good Cassandra Jane! Love your kitchen colour choices :)
