Display Gardens

Well seeing as we're now locked out and there isn't much left to take pic's of now I'm posting with some recent pic's taken of the gardens at the new Underwood displays. I love how Metricon landscape their displays and I'm definitely gaining inspiration for our place from looking at theirs.

Our place will be having some bamboo for sure! Clumping only!

Im wondering how hard it would be to build our own water feature something like one of these two?
 How cute is this area?
 Love these plants :-)
I'm really considering this fake grass hey...
This one looks a bit more complicated!

  1. We're thinking of going with fake grass as well which I was originally completely against (always hated the old astroturf). Having seen the modern version though it seems like a winner. Fair bit more expensive than lawn but always looks good, doesn't need watering and best of all I don't need to get a mower to mow my tiny back yard.

Let me know when you figure out how to build the big water feature. We wouldn't mind one of those either.

  2. were also getting fake grass in our backyard and just getting real grass for our front garden! It looks fabulous doesn't it?

We are doing our gazebo..bbq area with timber panels like the last pic you posted..and closing off our outdoor area ourselves, adding a wall using cladding and timber slats/panels along each side of the wall (like most metricon displays are and similar to your pic # 6). Definitely recommend you guys doing the water feature yourselves. I honestly don't think it will be hard at all and you will save so much money!
