End Date, End Date, End Date!!!!!

Well I've had a very successful day today indeed. Considering it was Brisbane's first day back at work after the floods, everyone I contacted rang me back!

• Carpet: Rang carpet choice to arrange site measure and they rang back to confirm Wednesday at 11.30am
• Delfin: rang and explained that the fibre optic to our estate is just being finalised and by the time we're in it will be sorted and we should have about 5 companies to choose from including ii net which is who Dec wants to go with!
• Splash back: after the guy finished cleaning up after the floods he phoned back to confirm site measure for midday tomorrow
• Supervisor: phoned to confirm access to the house tomorrow for splash back and blind measure up's and confirmed some dates for us! Ill confirm tomorrow but I think he said the mirrors, shower screens and wardrobe mirror sliders went on today. Electrician was volunteering his time to get some schools up and going but he should be at our place on Thursday. He also mentioned tank going in and insulation and missing laundry mixer.
• 31st January: Unofficial walk through, 3rd February: final certification and bank valuation can happen, 8th February: official walk through (PC). Anytime we can get a cheque after this, IT'S OURS! We just give him notice to install the appliances the day before.
• Driveway: went to CCS to see some samples. The lady was a complete moron though and couldn't give me any advice as to who could install a driveway in what we want so ill have to make some more phone calls tomorrow!http://www.concretecoloursystems.com.au/integrally_coloured_concrete.php

Tomorrow: phone the bank and arrange their valuer for the 3rd Feb and ask when after this we can get a cheque to handover! Then phone the tiler back and give him an exact start date.

So exciting now!
