We have a roof!

Well were were very pleased to see on Saturday afternoon that they have well and truely started the roof! We're pretty sure they were working Saturday morning before we got there! Fingers crossed they will get this finished early this week.

The plumbing and electrical rough-in's & windows are also scheduled for this week!

  1. I remember reaching this stage not so long ago. I thought everything was fine, until a few weeks later when the rain came. Lo and behold, a cracked tile allowed water to come through the roof tiles. Luckily the rain came or else there would be no way to detect it.

  3. Thanks Cassandra - just drove by and the roof is almost on - woohoo!!

There are at least 6 guys there so I think they may have it done in one day - so happy!!

The display home pics are gorgeous, I love seeing other design. At the display homes here in Sydney (that we went to, I think there are a few more now) there are only double storeys on display..

  5. Oh good news! Its funny the way things are done differently - as far as I know our electrical rough in isn't done until our cladding goes on, making the house almost to lock up (our front door and rear sliding stackers havent been installed yet.

Thats so strange that there are no single storeys here and no double storeys there! You would think they would try to cover both markets :)
