Today's building saga!

Well another day of interesting phone calls!

The developer got back to me and said we were perfectly right to decline the builders demand of payment for a fence we had no warning about! The builder also rang him and was very rude to him so he told me not to take his tone personally! lol! Sounds like he is just going to go ahead with his timber fence on his side and we can do what we like on our side!

The developer also told me the block to our right has settled this week and we will now have neighbours. I'm completing a form to get their details to discuss the fence on their side.

The block on the other side is in negotiations to sell but there isn't a contract on it yet so if we get in quick we can put up what we want first!

Now next phone call!

National tiles are telling us they no longer have room to store our main floor tiles we bought and they must be delivered! I've gone back to them and said, look the only reason we bought the tiles in the first place when they were on special was because the sales guy who sold them to us said they would hold them! Anyway they are going to do their best to hold them as long as possible and i've left a message for our supervisor to see how soon we could get them delivered! grrr!

UPDATE: Our lovely supervisor just rang me and is going to arrange for them to be delivered at the same time as the wet area tiles. YAY! Thanks :)
