Oh well, on our visit last night it was great to see they were still able to make some progress:
- Fascia & Gutter have gone up
- Frame has been finished (almost)
- Site clean has been done and they have spread out some of our dirt, looks heaps better already! They have also delivered more gravel for our driveway.
- Roof tiles have been delivered
- & the toilet has been emptied and moved back onto our site to try and stop the other builders using it! lol!

I agree - go away rain!! The most painful thing about today for us is that it was pouring at 6am when they establish whether or not they will work that day - but by 8am it had stopped and it was fine the entire day. SO frustrating!! It could have been finished in that time!!

Looks good Cassandra! Do you have to get that pile of dirt at the front moved yourself or are they going to spread it around?
ReplyDeleteWe had the same problem with the weather, in total Metricon claimed 2 weeks extension of time, even though they lost 2 days in those weeks.
ReplyDeleteAlso I wouldn't worry about the mud on the slab, and water in the shower floor, they will end up pumping it out and cleaning it up.
