PC complete!

So for those of you who were curious, PC went well. Took just over an hour on site. Everything looks great and the cleaner has been back again too. Only 6 things on our official list:

1. 1 x Hanging Rail in WIR still missing
2. Hole to Ldy Cupboard for WM still missing
3. Check Junction box outside family room (should be 2)
4. Check light in WC (wasn't working today)
5. Appliances to be installed & gas point finished off in Alfresco (day before handover)
6. Pit cover missing (1 x field drain cover went walk about!)

He is also finding out for us what the pipe is in front of our garage door and what is going to happen about our 'phone/ fibre optic' box to the side of the house as Telstra now don't do our estate apparently, this should be fun!

We've pencilled in Handover for Friday 18th (mum's b'day) however this is all going to be dependant on our bank as we STILL don't have a final invoice from Metricon! We do now have our Final Inspection Certificate, Form 21 which arrived in the mail yesterday.

Turns out Metricon didn't pass on the final drainage/ plumbing inspection because of the mess that has turned up out the back with this rain! Grr our silt net is half working but not in 1 spot so we've got silt everywhere again!

So to rectify this and for them to get final approval we have been given access to get our driveway in and concreting done out the back so we can get the ground to fall to these field drains. I managed to get our concretor for this Saturday at 7am, bobcat booked! How amazingly quick is that! So we'll need to be on site to get this all sorted. Probably pour on Monday. This way we can get the bobcat to do some other stuff while he's there including putting an extra agg drain in front of the retaining wall as should have been done in the first place and spreading out the excess dirt on next doors block! Speaking of which, we still cant get onto our retaining wall guy to come and do the rocks he left out!

Ah the joys of building! All starting to get a tad stressful now its getting closer to the finishing line! Next job for today, insurance quotes!
