Update on build: The bank has done a new valuation to cover our variations (good news), however this means we're now waiting to sign new loan documents for the new $ amount. Until these are ready to be signed the bank can't give Metricon a 'signed authority to commence document'. Once they receive this the new start date will be about 2 weeks from then. So our start date of 25th is now blown our which means our chances of getting in by Christmas now are being cut very fine! (bad news)
Oh know sorry to hear about your start date - you never know they may make up the time? Fingers crossed (for you guys)!
ReplyDeleteThanks. On the plus side our supervisor rang this morning and was at our site checking it out. It has water and power so thats good. I need Delfin to install some silt control though. There is still hope for handover before Chrissie!
ReplyDeleteHi Guys. Shame to see the start date pushed back. I think you'll still make it in for xmas. In our first meeting with our SS were were told that most of his jobs are between 4 and 8 weeks in advance of construction timeline. Hopefully that is the same for Brisbane builds.
